Quote-to-evidence review
Chinese Truck Mixer Concrete Specification Verification
This buyer worksheet tests whether a proposed truck mixer description, quotation, and supporting file refer to the same chassis, completed vehicle, mixer system, model year, and destination scope. It does not certify the vehicle or replace an independent inspection.
Review the Evidence Ledger
Mismatch review
Four specification gaps to close before accepting an alternative
- Vehicle identity
The quotation and evidence name different configurations
Match manufacturer identity, model, model year, cab, drive layout, wheelbase, engine or motor, transmission, axle set, and mixer body. A brochure covering several choices does not identify the supplied combination.
- Capacity language
Nominal or geometric drum volume is treated as payload
Ask for the stated capacity definition and a completed-unit weight calculation. Concrete density, water, fuel, driver, body mass, options, GVWR, GAWR, and load distribution constrain the usable load.
- Compliance scope
A document is presented without exact-model applicability
Record the issuer, document number, subject model, engine or vehicle family, manufacturing period, and destination relevance. Qualified reviewers must determine whether evidence meets the buyer's import or registration path.
- Commercial boundary
A lower number omits required scope
Normalize quantity, currency, Incoterm, validity, options, inspection, documentation, inland haulage, freight, insurance, tax and destination services. Missing costs remain open rather than being counted as savings.
Verification ledger for the quoted mixer truck
| Evidence group | Record this | Check this | Known boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identity | Manufacturer, model, model year, configuration and serial/VIN plan | Same identifiers across quote, specification, labels and delivery record | Pre-production identifiers may be unavailable until build allocation |
| Weight and ratings | GVWR, GAWR, curb/tare basis, body and option mass, payload assumption | Completed-unit calculation and axle distribution under stated concrete density | Legal operation depends on jurisdiction, loading and actual completed weight |
| Mixer package | Drum capacity definition, drive system, hydraulics, controls, water and chute | Named components, alternates, manuals, service and inspection points | Component substitutions may change price, timing, performance or support |
| Powertrain | Engine or motor, transmission, PTO, emissions configuration and cooling basis | Compatibility with mixer duty, climate, grade and model-year documents | Published family ranges are not proof for the quoted unit |
| Destination file | Requested safety, environmental, export, title and inspection documents | Issuer, validity, exact-model reference and recipient acceptance | MixerFleet Source cannot grant FMVSS, EPA, import or registration approval |
| Commercial scope | Quantity, currency, Incoterm, payment, validity, inspection and exclusions | Like-for-like totals and responsibility at each logistics handoff | Rates, duty, tax and port charges can change and require current confirmation |
A reproducible review path
- Freeze the buyer brief and number each mandatory requirement.
- Map every supplier response to the same requirement and mark absent answers.
- Request configuration-bound documents, dated condition evidence when applicable, and named component schedules.
- Review dimensions, ratings, weights, labels and functions during an agreed inspection; record equipment, conditions, photos, serial references and exceptions.
- Reconcile approved changes into the quotation and contract before release or shipment.
This path can reveal inconsistency; it cannot predict every operating outcome. Actual payload, mixing performance, fuel use, component life, road legality, and destination acceptance depend on the completed unit and operating conditions.
